Delhi Paralympic Chief Parul Singh Champions Inclusion in Sports During Meeting with Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren

Presents Traditional Painting as Symbol of Cultural Unity; Calls for Inter-State Collaboration in Para-Sports Development

Mrs. Parul Singh, President of the Delhi State Paralympic Committee, met with Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren in New Delhi today, in a significant step towards enhancing inter-state cooperation for the advancement of para-sports in India.

As a gesture of cultural respect and goodwill, Mrs. Singh presented the Chief Minister with a traditional painting depicting Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. The meeting served as a platform to discuss the evolving landscape of para-sports and the importance of building inclusive infrastructure for athletes with disabilities.

Mrs. Singh commended the Jharkhand government’s continued efforts in improving sports facilities and providing opportunities for para-athletes. She emphasized the need for collaborative frameworks between states to share best practices, develop joint training initiatives, and create unified platforms for para-sports development across the country.

Chief Minister Soren expressed his gratitude for the meaningful interaction and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to inclusive sports policies. He welcomed future engagement between Jharkhand and the Delhi Paralympic Committee to collectively uplift the para-athletic community.

Through such engagements, Mrs. Parul Singh continues to champion accessibility, inclusion, and cultural representation, reinforcing her leadership in advancing the rights and recognition of differently-abled athletes nationwide.
