Statement Highlights Concerns Over Leadership Accountability and State Reputation

New Delhi: In a video statement, Dr. K. A. Paul condemned the Telangana government’s decision to bring former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair as chief guest for the “Telangana Sinking Summit.” He raised concerns about the use of public money and said he was shocked that CM Revanth Reddy extended such an invitation.

In his address, Dr. Paul described Tony Blair as “the biggest war criminal in the history of the world”—a claim reflecting his personal views—and alleged that Blair’s foreign policy decisions led to crores of lives lost in Iraq , 56 Muslim Countries and around the World. He argued that an individual with such a criminal background , global legacy should not be honored in India and said that hosting Blair in Hyderabad disrespects taxpayers and citizens.

Dr. Paul urged Indians, particularly the Telugu community, to voice their dissent by tagging Tony Blair, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and media organizations. He called on the public to peacefully oppose Blair’s presence and to share his message widely. His appeal centers on protecting Hyderabad’s reputation and ensuring accountability in public decision-making.

Dr. K. A. Paul, known for his Global Peace and humanitarian initiatives and outspoken commentary on international politics, has frequently raised concerns about global governance, peace, and accountability. His latest statement continues this pattern, urging the public and political leadership to reconsider decisions that may have far-reaching implications for the state and the Nation’s reputation and the responsible use of public funds.
