Eureka North India Zonals Delhi Summit Empowers Startup Ecosystem at MERI, Janakpuri

Summit brings together startups, investors, and innovators from across North India to promote entrepreneurship and innovation.

New Delhi: Two-days event — Eureka North India Zonals Delhi Summit Chapter 2025 at The Management Education and Research Institute (MERI) campus, Janakpuri, in collaboration with MERI E-Cell and IIT Bombay E-Cell aimed at empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem through mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities. As part of Asia’s largest business model competition, the summit revolved around the theme “Turning Bold Ideas into Real Opportunities.” The event served as a dynamic platform for startups, investors, incubators, accelerators, and aspiring entrepreneurs to connect, share insights, and explore new avenues for innovation and growth.

Professor Lalit Aggarwal, Vice President of MERI Group of Institutions welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of data-driven strategies in building successful startups.

The Chief Guest Ms. Rita Bahuguna Joshi, former Member of Parliament along with members of the Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad (RYP), encouraged young innovators to initiate new ventures and highlighted various startup programs introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr. Sujeet Kumar, Member of the Rajya Sabha, also graced the occasion and interacted with the students, discussing government financial schemes and initiatives that support young entrepreneurs. Distinguished delegates, including Dr. Rajesh Mehta and Shri Narendra Mathur, National President of RYP, were also present.

Dr. Gurpreet Kaur Chhabra (MERI) introduced key programs such as Pre-Incubation, Entrepreneurship Connect, Incubation, Investor Hub, Acceleration, Independent Services, and Education Programs, offering mentorship, resources, and networking for startups.

The summit brought together 132 startups, 35 investors and mentors 45 Zury members and 25 IIT Bombay E-Cell representatives, and In addition, more than 100 students and protocol officers from MERI E-Cell actively participated, making the event both engaging and insightful.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Ritu Aggarwal, acknowledging all participants and organizers for the summit’s success.
