New Delhi: India’s capital witnessed a landmark gathering as the 17th IANR and 7th SRS Conferences concluded at The Ashok Hotel, uniting researchers and clinicians from around the world to share breakthroughs in regenerative medicine.

The conference was inaugurated by Shri Jual Oram, Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Affairs, while Shri J.P. Nadda, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare, extended his greetings via video message, underscoring the government’s support for advancing regenerative medicine in India.

The event focused on regenerative medicine using cellular therapies, which have the potential to benefit India’s 2.68 crore Divyang citizens. India also leads globally in publications on neurological conditions.

Dr. Alok Sharma, President of the Society of Regenerative Sciences (India), said,
“Our work in regenerative medicine offers treatment for patients with no other options. We urge the inclusion of cellular therapies under Ayushman Bharat so all patients can access these life-changing treatments.”

The concluding day highlighted pediatric neurorestoratology, with a special focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), behavior therapy, and parental perspectives. The conference concluded successfully, marking a milestone for India in the global scientific community. Organizers announced that next year’s IANR conference will be hosted in China, continuing the tradition of international collaboration in regenerative medicine and neurorestoratology.
