Union MoS Bhagirath Chaudhary Honors Achievers at Atal Awards 2025, Recognizing Public Service and Global Contributions

Atal Foundation celebrates Atal Shree 2025 and Atal Samman Samaroh 2025 in New Delhi, honoring individuals across sectors for excellence, social impact, and upholding Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s legacy.

The Atal Foundation organized the prestigious Atal Shree 2025 and Atal Samman Samaroh 2025 at New Maharashtra Sadan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi, to commemorate the legacy, vision, and values of former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The ceremony brought together public representatives, social leaders, and distinguished awardees to honor exceptional contributions in diverse fields, reflecting Vajpayee Ji’s commitment to integrity, inclusive growth, and public service.

Union Minister of State for Agriculture, Bhagirath Chaudhary, graced the event as the chief guest. He was accompanied by MP Geeta Shakya, former MP and Indian Red Cross Society ex-Chairman Avinash Rai Khanna, and Aparna Singh, National President of the Atal Foundation. Social activist Ashok Agarwal and spiritual leader/former Miss World Tourism India Ishika Taneja also attended.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Chaudhary highlighted the Foundation’s role in fostering social inclusion and empowerment. “Through initiatives in education, health, and community development, the Atal Foundation strengthens social cohesion while advancing Atal Ji’s vision of nation-building and service-oriented leadership,” he said.

Awards were distributed in four categories: The Atal Ratna Award 2025 was presented to Avinash Rai Khanna and Ankit Rathi for their outstanding contributions. Nine individuals received the International Atal Award for global impact, while 20 awardees were honored with the Atal Shree Award. Additionally, 11 individuals received the Atal Gaurav Award for sustained public service and social development initiatives.

Aparna Singh, National President of the Atal Foundation, said, “Atal Ji’s ideals of inclusive development, social harmony, and selfless service continue to guide our work. Each award represents a commitment to translating his vision into meaningful action.”

The event underscored the importance of recognizing and promoting leadership, excellence, and social contribution in India, reinforcing the enduring relevance of Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s philosophy in contemporary society.
