In a significant administrative development, Dr. Bhargav Mallappa has resigned from his position as National Deputy Chairman and Administration In-Charge of the People Forum of India, stepping down with immediate effect. The decision marks a major shift in the organization’s leadership structure.

In a formal letter addressed to National Chairman Dr. S. Manimozhiyaan, Dr. Bhargav announced that he is relinquishing all responsibilities within the organization. Along with his resignation, he has declared all appointments made through his official authority as null and void from the outset, in line with internal governance standards designed to prevent operational or legal uncertainties.

Dr. Bhargav explained that he had repeatedly sought crucial documents proving the organization’s legal standing, structure, and operational legitimacy. Due to the continuous non-provision of these records, he found himself unable to respond to members’ questions or contribute effectively to organizational development. The persistent absence of documentation, he said, left him with no option but to withdraw from his role.

He further clarified that he will not be accountable for any actions taken within the organization after his resignation, including future appointments made by the National Chairman. Similarly, any decisions taken during his tenure without his knowledge or consent will remain the sole responsibility of the National Chairman, in accordance with established post-resignation liability norms.

Dr. Bhargav stated that the revocation of all team appointments was an essential step to prevent potential administrative or legal complications. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the organization and reaffirmed his goodwill towards its goals. Although his resignation is final and irreversible, he added that he remains available to assist with a smooth transition, provided the previously requested documents are shared.

This development is expected to have a considerable impact on the People Forum of India’s administrative processes as the organization works to address leadership and structural concerns.
