The ongoing weekly Teej Utsav 2025 at New Delhi’s Bikaner House will continue until Wednesday. The fair has witnessed enthusiastic participation from visitors keen on purchasing traditional products crafted by artisans and craftspeople from remote parts of Rajasthan.

RUDA Incharge Officer Mr. Om Prakash shared that the event is being organized with the support of RUDA and Rajeevika, and features participation from several nationally and regionally acclaimed artisans. National award winner Mohammad Aqeel from Sikar has set up a stall showcasing traditional Bandhej sarees. Similarly, Suresh Chhipa from Chittorgarh is exhibiting Akola hand-printed products. Rajesh Nama from Jaipur is presenting Sanganeri hand block prints; Abhishek Barjatya has displayed embroidered garments; Deepansh and Rajendra Sharma are offering traditional jewellery; Wajid Ali is selling lacquer bangles and bracelets; and Rishabh Jain has brought unique Kshara candle work items for sale.

The fair also features tie-and-dye textiles by Mohammad Sharif from Jodhpur, art metalwork by Lekhrat Kansara, appliqué work by Santosh Kumar from Barmer, Barmeri hand block printed fabrics by Khetaram Choudhary, and traditional Jodhpuri footwear and Pattu textiles crafted by Govind Meghwal—garnering great appreciation from the visitors.

According to RUDA representative Mr. Mayank Joshi, the fair is also drawing large crowds for its authentic Rajasthani cuisine. Food stalls serving delicacies such as dal-baati-choorma, ker-sangri sabzi, moong dal halwa, malai ghewar, and Mewari kulfi are especially popular among visitors.

He also said that, with the fair concluding on Wednesday, footfall—particularly among women—has been steadily rising. Dressed in traditional attire, many are making their way to Bikaner House to celebrate the essence of Teej in true festive spirit.
