Building on Austria Partnership, MERI College Moves Forward with Norway Collaboration

Norwegian Government’s Science & Innovation Head Visits MERI Campus

New Delhi: After achieving meaningful collaboration with Austria, MERI College has advanced its global academic outreach by taking a key initiative toward academic and research cooperation with Norway. The development was shared by Dean Professor Deepshikha Kalra and HR Head Prof. Tapas Dey, who informed that Ms. Elisabeth, representing the Government of Norway’s Science, Technology and Innovation Department, visited the campus today.

During the campus visit, Ms. Elisabeth listened attentively to every idea and project presented before her and showed keen interest in the discussions. Her interaction with the students was particularly inspiring. She encouraged the students, wished them a bright future, and conveyed a strong message about moving forward through international cooperation.

Ms. Elisabeth’s visit infused the campus with enthusiasm and fresh energy. The visit was not only motivating but also left behind a strong sense of hope for new possibilities of collaboration in the future. The programme concluded with the warm message of “See you again.”

Ms. Elisabeth is a person of remarkable humility, grace, and simplicity. Along with strong leadership qualities, her humane sensitivity was clearly evident throughout the visit. Deeply committed to her work, she is dedicated to advancing Norway’s mission of development. Highly educated, thoughtful, widely read, and well‑travelled across many countries of the world, her rich experience was reflected in her dialogue and progressive outlook.
