On the occasion of the 17th death anniversary of former MLA and senior Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee leader late Ram Babu Sharma, a tribute meeting along with a free health and eye check-up camp was organised at Shri Sai Temple, Qabool Nagar, Shahdara. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from local residents and party workers, who gathered in large numbers to pay their heartfelt respects to the late leader, remembered for his lifelong commitment to public service.

As part of the service initiative, more than 500 underprivileged residents underwent free medical and eye examinations, and were provided medicines and spectacles at no cost. The camp reflected the values and vision of late Ram Babu Sharma, whose politics was deeply rooted in service to society.

The tribute programme was attended by several senior Congress leaders and public representatives, including senior Congress leader and former MP Jaiprakash Agarwal, former MLA Vipin Sharma (son of late Ram Babu Sharma), social worker Paras Sharma (Pinky), former MLA and Chairman of the Trans-Yamuna Development Board Arvinder Singh Lovely, councillor Shivani Panchal, former MLA Anil Bhardwaj, along with many senior leaders, social activists and prominent citizens of the area.
