Patriotic Celebrations Conclude with Songs and Community Breakfast, Strengthening Social Bonds

New Delhi: The East Delhi Best Delhi Foundation marked the occasion of Republic Day with a ceremonial flag hoisting in East Delhi, led by Founder and Rajdhani Nikunj President Sumit Suneja. The programme attracted a large number of residents, who joined in with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

Addressing the gathering, the Founder emphasised the evolving mindset and dynamic energy of today’s youth—Generation Z. He stated that Gen Z seeks transparency, freedom of thought, and meaningful change, and stressed the importance of providing the right direction, constructive guidance, and social harmony to enable young people to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.

Drawing a historical parallel, he observed that today’s youth carry the same revolutionary spirit that defined the freedom fighters of a century ago. He referred to Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and Chandrashekhar Azad as the “Gen Z of their era,” whose courage and vision continue to inspire the nation.

Highlighting the pivotal role of youth in nation-building, the Founder added that society must offer opportunities, support, and inspiration for young minds to lead India forward.

The programme concluded with patriotic songs followed by a community breakfast. The Founder expressed gratitude to all residents for their participation and for making the Republic Day celebration memorable.
