New Delhi, July 30, 2025

The prestigious Global Outreach Summit 2025 was inaugurated today at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Ms. Rekha Gupta. Organized by Brands and Sourcing Leaders (BSL), the summit brought together leading industrial stakeholders and innovators from across India to explore opportunities in trade, textiles, sustainability, and investment.

On this occasion, Mr. Kundan Kumar, Resident Commissioner of Bihar and Managing Director of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA), was also present and represented Bihar’s industrial vision.

Following the inaugural ceremony, the Hon’ble Chief Minister visited the BIADA pavilion and lauded Bihar’s showcase on textiles, startups, and entrepreneurial innovation. With visible enthusiasm, she remarked —
“Bihar ki to baat hi kya hai!” (Bihar truly stands apart!)
— reflecting the state’s impressive and inspiring presentation at the summit.

As part of the summit, Mr. Kundan Kumar also participated in the high-level roundtable discussion on “The Next Global Hub for Sustainable Fashion”, where he highlighted Bihar’s emerging role in sustainable textiles, traditional craft revival, and eco-conscious production.

During the subsequent Masterclass session on “Investment Opportunities in Bihar’s Textile Sector”, Mr. Kumar addressed industrialists and business leaders, presenting Bihar as a high-potential destination for textile and apparel investments.
Speaking at the session, Mr. Kundan Kumar stated:

“Bihar is fast gaining recognition not only for its cultural heritage but also for the exceptional investment potential it offers in textile and manufacturing. With strong policy support, resource availability, and seamless connectivity, Bihar is truly a state that forward-looking investors must pay attention to — it offers opportunity, support, and a promising future.”

The BIADA pavilion attracted significant attention from both national and international delegates, reaffirming Bihar’s rising prominence on India’s industrial and sustainable development map.
