In a significant event highlighting India’s developmental strides, Vice President Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan today released the fourth and fifth volumes of selected speeches by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, spanning June 2022 to May 2023 and June 2023 to May 2024. The compilations, titled Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas, published by the Publications Division of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, encapsulate the Prime Minister’s vision and leadership in driving India’s transformative journey. The release ceremony, held in the capital, was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha Shri Harivansh, who collectively underscored the profound impact of Modi’s governance model.

Speaking at the event, Vice President Radhakrishnan emphasized the success of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, crediting it for making India self-reliant in critical sectors such as defence, space, and electronics, alongside fostering social development. He highlighted that the spirit of “Rashtra Pratham, India First” resonates deeply within the nation, guiding its developmental trajectory and echoing in the hearts of every citizen. The Vice President stressed that a strong nation is built not only on power but also on the pillars of character and unity, which have been central to India’s progress under Modi’s leadership. He further noted the transformative role of initiatives like quality education in mother tongues, access to clean drinking water, sanitation, healthcare, poverty eradication, clean energy, and climate action in improving the lives of India’s 1.4 billion citizens. Reflecting on the past 11 years, he celebrated the milestone of over 25 crore people being lifted out of poverty, enabling them to lead lives of dignity. He poignantly remarked, “When a toilet is built in a household, it gives dignity to the ‘Man’—the Mind of the household.” The Vice President also extended his congratulations to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and its Publications Division for their meticulous work in compiling these volumes.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Railways, and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, lauded Prime Minister Modi’s selfless approach to governance, describing him as an inspirational leader who prioritizes society, service, and the nation above personal interests. Vaishnaw highlighted how Modi has redefined politics as a medium to serve the people, adopting an inclusive approach that has brought tangible changes to millions of lives. He expressed confidence that the newly released volumes would serve as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and scholars seeking to understand the Prime Minister’s transformative governance model. Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Shri Harivansh, praised Prime Minister Modi as one of the world’s most effective communicators, noting his unique ability to connect with people through carefully crafted initiatives and their nomenclature. He cited Modi’s attention to detail in naming schemes, which reflects his intent to make governance relatable and impactful for every citizen. Harivansh underscored the significance of the speech compilations in documenting the Prime Minister’s vision and communication style, which have played a pivotal role in shaping India’s developmental narrative.

Shri Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, described the volumes as an authentic and comprehensive reference for understanding the Prime Minister’s governance philosophy.
