Darbhanga Cylinder Blast Victims Meet Jan Suraj Party Candidate Rakesh Mishra, Who Urges Compassion Over Politics

Amid relief efforts, Rakesh Mishra condemns attempts to disrupt peace, assures support to blast victims, and calls for development, honesty, and democratic participation in Darbhanga.

Darbhanga, November 3, 2025

Jan Suraj Party candidate and former Director General of Police, Rakesh Kumar Mishra, visited the site of the domestic cylinder blast in Darbhanga Assembly constituency on Saturday to meet affected families and oversee relief measures. Expressing deep concern for the victims, Mishra assured them of full support and emphasized that in times of crisis, humanity and compassion must come before politics.

During his visit, Mishra highlighted that the Jan Suraj Party team is actively engaged in providing medical assistance, essential supplies, and rehabilitation services to the victims and their families. However, the visit was briefly interrupted when a small group of miscreants allegedly tried to create disorder. The party strongly condemned these actions, calling them a deliberate attempt to instigate unrest, driven by fear of the candidate’s rising public support in Darbhanga and the greater Mithila region.

Speaking to the public, Mishra said that years of service in the police force and now as a public representative have strengthened his commitment to serving the community. He added that such disruptive tactics would neither intimidate nor deter him, as his political mission is centered on service, integrity, and the welfare of the people, rather than personal power or gain.

“This is a time for compassion, not politics. Humanity is our greatest strength,” Mishra stated, urging citizens to unite in support of the victims and community welfare.

He also appealed to the people of Darbhanga to exercise their democratic right responsibly by voting for the ‘School Bag’ symbol on November 6, stressing that Bihar deserves a future defined by development, transparency, and honesty rather than fear and coercion.
